Garfield! I am currently reading the recent book that came out about Garfield and his assassination “Destiny of the Republic”.. good read so far! I kind of doubt Bill O’Reilly will write a “Killing Garfield” book though.
Bill O’Reilly I A Douche, Anyway.
And That’s AWESOME About Your Current Read.
I’m Currently Working On “DUEL: ALEXANDER HAMILTON, AARON BURR, And The FUTURE Of AMERICA”
Has Been A Pretty Decent Read, Thus Far, Fo SHO!
There is also a fairly new book about about the McKinley assassination. I have read a ton of stuff on LIncoln/ JFK assassinations.. I think I’ll do the McKinley book after I am done with ole Jimmy Garfield.
Another book you might be interested in is, “The Plots Against the President,” by Sally Denton, about two different attempts to either kill or oust F.D.R. in the ’30′s. One of the plots, for which amazingly no one was prosecuted, involved the family that now runs the baseball HOF in Cooperstown.

I can’t hear Aaron Burr’s name without thinking of that old “Got Milk” commercial.
AAUH BUHH!
I saw that book at Barnes and Noble. I’ll be interested to hear what you thought of it when you’re done.
