“…Looking For You…
…You Were Looking For Me…
…Always Reaching For You…
…You Were Too Blind To See…
…Oh, Love Of My Heart…
…Why Leave Me Alone…
…I’m Falling Apart…
…No Good On My Own…“
…
…
“…Oh L’Amour…
…Broke My Heart…
…Now I’m Aching For You…
…Mon Amour…
…What’s A Boy In Love Supposed To Do? …“
…
…
Since The Nephew Remains Asleep…
…I Figured I Had Time To Crank This One Out.
I’ve Had This Song…
“OH L’AMOUR“
by ERASURE
…Stuck In My Brain Alllllll Weekend.
So Now, I’m Trying To Do Something About It.
ERASURE
…To ME…
…Is A Very VERY Underrated Musical Group…
…And I’m Saddened They’re Not More Popular Than They Actually Are.
I’d Characterize Their Music As Being Music That Deserves Your Love…
…And With Songs Like This One…
“OH L’AMOUR“
…It’s Very Hard Not To Love Them.
Other Notable Numbers Include…
“VICTIM OF LOVE“
“CHAINS OF LOVE“
“STOP!“
“ALWAYS“
…All Of Which I’m Very Sure MOST Of Y’all Have Never Ever Heard Of.
A Few Of You, However, Have Had The Privileged Of Enjoying Their Sounds…
…And Some Of You I Already Know Have Seen Them Live In Concert.
I Would LOVE To See…
ERASURE
…Work.
I Don’t Get To Go To Many Quality Shows…
…But That’s Just A Problem With My Geography.
Living In Southern Illinois…
…It Ain’t Easy To Find Shows Of Any Real Quality.
I’ve Seen A Slim Few Great Acts Around Here.
ANYWAY…
…This Song…
“OH L’AMOUR“
…Has Been My Song Of Choice These Past Couple Days.
In Fact…
…I’m Listening To It As I Type This.
It’s Really A Beautiful…
…Enjoyable…
…Quirky Little Number.
Just Be Careful, Kiddies.
It’s A TOTALLY ADDICTIVE Tune.
Don’t Believe Me?
Try It.
Give It A Go.
Give It The Ole College Try.
I Swear…
…You’ll Hear It Once…
…And You’ll Wanna Hear It Again…
…And That Should Be Just Enough To Turn On The Ole Brain And It’ll Straight-Up Tell You…
"WHOA! I'm In Lust Lust LUST With This Song! Let's Hear It Again!!!"

Erasure’s second song, and first really good one!
T’Is A Damn Spiffy Song, My Friend, No Doubt!
It’s Also Infectiously Catchy! hehehe
Which great acts have you seen in illinois then? Come on, impress me!!!
I Don’t Think Bradley And Making One Impressed Generally End-Up In The Same Line Of Thought haha I’ve Only Seen A Handful Of Acts LIVE And I Wouldn’t Consider Any Of Them “Impressive”. Ben Folds Was A Great Show. I’ve Seen The Hairbanger’s Ball A Few Times. Smashing Pumpkins In ’96. That’s About It, Dude.
Hey don’t do yourself down dude – Ben Folds is pretty cool and I would kill to have seen smashing pumpkins in 96. Radiohead in 96 would have been nice too. A boy can dream haha
Reblogged this on "You Jivin' Me, Turkey?" and commented:
I’ve Been Listening To This Song Alllll Morning Long. It’s A Perfect Wake-Up Jam, And One Most Folks Have Never Heard-Of, Let Alone Heard.
<==SEE! I'm Smiling As We Speak!!!
I Still Say One Should Give It A Go. ‘Tis A Wonderful Little Ditty, And One That Never Fails To Make Me Smile
Give It A Go, My Peeps. You Shant Be Disappointed, Fo SHO!!!
-B.
Sounds like you’re a big 80′s fan….I’m a die-hard Smiths/Morrissey fan myself.
The ’80s Were My Decade! Aside From Ronald Regan, I Loved Most Of What Came Out Of Said Decade.
hehehe
The Music… The Movies… It’s All A Bunch Of Fun! That’s How I Think Of The ’80s, Anyway.
I’ve seen Erasure perform more than I’ve seen any other band, and although I haven’t seen them in Chicago, I read a good review of their Chicago show. I’ve seen Erasure in LA, SF, Seattle, Las Vegas and Boulder Colorado ( for the acoustic tour, which was incredible). Always a good time.
I’d Love To See Any Quality Live Show, Anymore.
We Just Don’t Get Them Around Here.
And Chicago Is A 6-Hour Drive!!!
Sheesh.
One Day, My Friend, One Day.
