Brad, I am with you on this one. Molina is a great defensive catcher. He had a career year last year bettering or matching most of his offensive stats. But he is not a $75 million for five years player. His last contract was five years for $21.75 million. How did he all of a sudden become worth $54 million more? Molina has no speed with only 3 triples in 8 seasons and only 55 home runs.
No wonder he’s smiling
